One of the first questions I ask myself before preparing a trip is that of: "How is the food going to be like?". When I decide to go on holiday, I always buy a good travel guide book in which I will find all the necessary information on the country, but also, I never miss to read the section on the local specialties. I sometimes, just by walking down the street from where I live, can get a culinary treat from many distant countries. From my Chinese friend's lemon chicken to the tapas from the Spanish Center, I have the feeling of already being far from my home town.
Friendly encounters often take place by simply sitting at a table and enjoying typical meals.
