You love travelling. You never miss the opportunity to take your pen or your camera along with you? Then, this website is for you!
You went to the encounter of the continents, its populations, its many glances, its beautiful landscapes who shape the world as we know it today? The objective of GreatFive is to give the opportunity to all of you who are passionate about travel notes and photography to share your unique experiences with others. Your stories are those of special encounters, images, words, sents and souvenirs. A shell picked up on a beach, a post card, a stamp or a dried flower pasted on a page of your journal... The travel journal is like the traveller's guest book, which read again later, brings back to life what could have been forgotten. You are imperturbable dreamers, always ready to take off to new adventures on the other side of the world, or maybe just next door. Knick-knack gatherers, curious observers and tireless feeling gatherers, your stories will make our magazine.

The team
Jean-Pierre Bonjour, Switzerland
I was born in 1968, but really got passionate about travelling after discovering Indonesia at the age of 25. A trip that would mark me for the rest of my life.
Leaving Medan on Sumatra, going to Denpasar on the beautiful island of Bali, we had planned to rally the two cities in five weeks. This was of course too short of a time to discover such a magnificent country.
Incredible encounters, faces and smiles. A very different view of the world that I had imagined from my home country, Switzerland. A real cultural shock. I had gained so much from this trip, it was now clear to me that I'd make it my passion.
I hope this website will comply with your many expectations and I wish you safe travelling.
Nicolas Kissling, Switzerland
Cyrille Roger, South Africa
There we go, I'm father for the first time. I must say that the delivery wasn't made without any pain. But thanks to the precious help of my two accomplices in this adventure, everything went smoothly.
As for myself, the idea of creating a travel magazine had been pattering along in my head for quite some time now, about ten years I guess. In fact, it kind of set off while on my second long stay in South Africa where I came back to study graphic design. I was also lucky to have parents who travelled a lot and always brought me and my brother along. Hence my passion for travel stories and photography, and an unconditional love for Africa.
This project has finally come to life in the shape of a website dedicated to those who are like me, passionate about travel tales and photography. Maybe one day we'll meet at a crossroad and sit down to share our experiences.
Until then, I wish you all a safe trip and pleasure reading stories from around the world.
Jorge Caballero, Switzerland
As for me, I was born in 1964, which makes me, once more, the oldest of the team. But the farthest from being as good as gold.
I am attracted by far away regions, vast stretches of land, big cities. In fact, anything that adds a little spicy to the mysteries and surprises in our dayly lives.
Well, lets be serious a minute. My favorite continents are North America, South America and the Pacific islands. The first one to take the mystery out of the american dream, the other for the latino spirit (yeah, I'm Spanish...) and the last one for nothing but the beaches and the fish. And that's just great because it makes me perfectly complementary with my partners.
More, I am crazy about photography, having studied in an art school. My closest travelling companion is therefore my camera. I hope you will enjoy my pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
I wish you safe travelling.

The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes sight-seeing. Daniel J. Boorstin
